Attitude of Grattitude

I've been issued a challenge to write twenty things I'm grateful for, each day for a week.  I'm recording it here:

Tuesday, September 13, 2011
1. The atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ; 2. A loving Heavenly Father; 3. My loving husband, Cory; 4. My first born son, Alexander; 5. My daughter Anastasia; 6. My youngest darling, Oliver; 7&8. Wonderful friends like Cassie and Rachel; 9. My own home; 10. Being able to send my children to public school; 11.  Mouths to eat yummy foods; 12. Computers; 13. Internet - so many resources at my fingertips; 14. Brains to learn; 15.  Ears to hear magical sounds of things; 16. Eyes to see many colors in the world; 17. Noses to smell lovely flowers; 18. Hands to type and do so much good in the world; 19. Feet to get me where I want to go; 20.  My membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

1. Boy Scouts of America organization; 2. The Opportunity to be a Cub Scout Leader; 3. The opportunity to attend Woodbadge this past summer; 4.  My amazing Sister, Marie; 5.&6. The opportunity to participate in RevMom Academy and RevMom2; 7-12. My five Awesome brothers - Scott, Craig, Gerald, Clint, & Jon; 13. & 14. My Wonderful Parents, George & Millie; 15.  My Inspirational Grandma, Helen Mar; 16.  The Opportunity to serve as PTC President for my daughter's Preschool; 17&18.  The Opportunities DoTerra has brought into my life - Natural Healing Oils, Learning Business Principles; 19.  Sleep; 20. Bedtime - when I get to connect with my children on multiple levels

1. 60 minutes in an hour; 2. 24 hours in a day; 3. 7 days in a week; 4. A little over 4 weeks each month; 5. 12 months in a year; (All that because if I can't get it done right this minute - there is another minute, day, week, month, year to follow so that I can get all the most important things accomplished); 6.  Laundry Day (instead of Laundry everyday); 7. Creative Ideas from my son - today he wanted to build a car with some scrap wood, nails and a screw driver! 8 - 10. Good books to read like: Harry Potter, The Alchemist, & The Darkside of the Light Chasers; 11 - 13. Free blogs, email & social websites; 14. Problems to Solve; 15. The Alphabet; 16. The eloquence of words; 17.  Children that understand; 18. Arms for wonderful hugs; 19. & 20. Kisses and snuggles from little ones!!!

1.Temples all over the world; 2 -5. Pretty looking and smelling flowers like: roses, lilacs, tulips, and daffodils; 6 - 10.  Yummy fruits like bananas, kiwis, strawberries, raspberries, and grapes; 11-15.  Great vegetables like carrots, lettuce, green beans, potatoes and sweet potatoes; 16 - 20.  Some other yummy foods like: bread, rice, turkey, pasta, and steak.

1&2. Fingers and thumbs; 3&4. Hair and hairclips; 5&6.  Curiousity & Intensity of a child;  7&8.  Wonderful parents-in-law, Gary & Kathy; 9&10. My husband's steady job and his opportunity to study his MBA at NYU; 11-14.  Cory's fabulous sisters: Jenny, Amy, Emily, & Ashley; 15- 20.  More amazing in-laws: Michelle, Monica, Jana, Josh, Wade & David (All married to my brothers, sister or Cory's sisters)

1. Stake Conference; 2. General Conference; 3. Regular church meetings; 4. Substituting in Primary / Nursery; 5 - 20. Nieces and Nephews:Shaelyn, Brayton, Matthew, Cassie, Jeremiah, Ashlyn, Blake, Eliah, Jayden, Serena, T.J., Rylan, Ty, Janaea, Peter - So much fun! (and oh -yeah Jasmine, too)

1. Cell phones; 2. Text messaging; 3.  Airplanes; 4. Vacations; 5. Coming home from vacations; 6 - 10.  Cory's nieces & nephew: Abby, Sam, Kate, & Maddie; 11 - 15.  DoTerra Oils, especially: lavender, lemon, melaleuca, peppermint & frankincense; 16 - 20. DoTerra Blends especially: Terra Shield, Purify, Serenity, Balance, and Breathe

Also, I am grateful for these "Embrace Abundance" Challenges - what an amazing way to recognize our blessings and reach out to create more!!
