President George Albert Smith, one of the Latter-day prophets of the LDS church, created a creed that he lived by. I was so impressed by it that I decided I needed to write my own, one that I could remember easily. Here it is:
Christlike love: I will seek opportunities to feel Christ's love for me and those around me.
Humility: I will recognize that my blessings come from God and use them to build His Kingdom.
Appreciate: I will recognize, acknowledge and express appreciation for the talents of others.
Rejoiceth in Truth: I will remind myself that the gospel brings/means JOY.
Intuition: I will use my intuition to seek and accept opportunities to serve those around me.
Thinketh Pure Thoughts: I will correct erroneous and negative thinking as quickly as possible.
Yet a Little While Longer: I will remind myself that the daily inconveniences and trials last for such a short time when considering the eternities.
