Problem: I felt sharp pain and general discomfort in my left heel for three days. The pain was about a 6 on a scale from one to ten. Researching it on the internet I decided that I had a bone spur.
What I Did: I soaked in a bath with Marjoram, Cypress, and Clove. I also massaged my foot, pushing on the heel towards the toes and around the ankles.
I also evaluated possible emotional causes and decided that I needed to stop telling myself "I have too much to do." I've decided to acknowledge, "I have a lot to do, but I can do it and enjoy doing it." http://www.pure-and-simple-healing.com/bone-spurs.html
The next day I had a lot to do, but I wore socks that supported my feet, and wedge heeled shoes. I also tried to rest my heel by walking on my left toes. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080925194338AAmTNoF
By the end of the day, the pain was down to 1. I soaked my foot again, in Marjoram, Cypress, and Orange.
After a couple of days of soaking my foot in Cypress and Marjoram, even the twinges of pain were gone.
Additional Notes: The Clove and Orange were for other ailments besides the bone spur. I decided to use both Marjoram and Cypress because of the other things they are good for:
Clove: Possible blood clots, Arthritic pain, and Strengthen my immune system
Orange: Anxiety, Cardiovascular System, and Sluggish Digestion
Marjoram: Arthritic Pain; Constipation; and Possible trouble in intestines
Cypress: Circulation because of past Reynauld like symptoms (white fingers and numbness)
